An alternate way of getting to know the presidential candidates is though the application of numerology. The system employed here is a variation of the Pythagorean approach. I call this system Numerology for Soul Awakening. I originated this system in order to understand a person's soul purpose for coming into the physical plane. A life sojourn represents the soul's design for healing its psyche.
We know each of the candidates on the basis of their egoic levels of persona. Now we can gain an insight into their life purpose. Let's take a look first at Obama's chart:

8 + 4 + 8 = 11
Obama's life expression if derived for the birth date. No matter what activities he may be engaged in, he will always express with a particular style. Obama's birth number, 11, indicates a propensity for self-mastery, which points to maintaining self control, not allowing his thoughts and emotions to run away with him. He will tend to observe himself from a witnessing level of awareness, ever vigilant in his observation of self.
His 11 is influenced by the underlying vibrations that stem from the actually birth numbers. These are the two 8's and the 4. The 8 is the vibration of self-direction and leadership. That this vibration is twice presents indicates a strong impulse in this direction. The 4 is the vibration of stability, discipline, orderliness.
SOUL DESIRE NUMBER: 2 + 8 + 8 + 11 = 11
The soul desire number indicates the kind of atmosphere in which soul prefers to operate while functioning in the earth plane. In Obama's case, the self-mastery expression appears again, and as well the two leadership expressions. Added to the mix is the 2 expression, which is the vibration relating to analytics, balance and harmony.
PERSONALITY NUMBER: 7 + 6 + 6 + 4 = 5
This is the persona one is born with, inherited through the DNA, which is then subject to the conditionings of family, society and life experiences.
Obama appears to have been born with a persona that tends toward expressing self through action, the 5 vibration. His underlying influences are the 7, pointing to intellectual activity; two 6's, pointing to compassion-ate activity, and the 4, pointing to self-discipline and a stable personality, in other words, a dependable person.
DESTINY NUMBER: 9 + 5 + 5 + 6 = 7
When there is a well-integrated marriage of the soul desire numbers and the personality numbers, the destiny of the life is revealed. In Obama's case, his destiny becomes a life devoted to learning, 7, probably on all levels. Learning from life experiences, from academic experiences, and from inner or spiritual insightfulness. This 7 is influence by the underlying numbers: the 6, pointing to compassion; the 9, pointing to a humanitarian impulse; and the two 5's, pointing to bringing to the world his beliefs, 7; his humanitarian, 9; and his compassionate impulses. His destiny would not that of one who would tend to sit on the sidelines watching others do the work, His two 5's would not permit such.

The end goal number points to one's life in the advanced age. As one's life ripens, the end goal number indicates the nature of one's expression in old age. Here we see the 9 pointing to a person who has become the humanitarian, the benefactor to others, consisting of the combination of the person of wisdom, 7; and the person who has achieved balance and harmony, 2; who cam be seen as the person of peace, which is another aspect of the 2 energy expression.

Obama's style of interacting with his outer world, how he takes in information through his senses, the physical temperament; and what he makes of this information with his intellect, the mental temperament; and how his emotional and intuitive temperaments play into the mix. In his case, we see that his mental and emotional temperaments are stronger than his physical. This combination points to his capacity for self- mastery. His tendency is to examine with his mind and his heart that which comes to him through his senses. Since is physical temperament is 2 points less than both his mental and emotional temperaments, his penchant for action, the 5 of his personality number, is well in control. In other words, he is not apt to react to outer circumstances on the fly, but rather more inclined to measure with his mind and his heart before jumping to act. His intuitive faculty is less used in the way he functions. The final step he would take before taking nay action would be to consult his intuitive self - but only after consulting his intellect and his emotional self.

The missing/karmic number points to major issue for this life sojourn, the energy expression, which the soul wants to perfect. We can see that in Obama's case the design for this life, orchestrated by soul focuses quite clearly on this issue.

Can you compile Sarah Palin's Numerology? I think for McCain this is the last shot but for Palin this isn't the last we hear of her (even if their ticket loses in the elections). Great insight....

Keep in mind that throughout this reading we are looking at the “blueprint” soul has designed for its purpose, which is to heal and purify its psyche so that it can return to Source. In Sarah’s case this healing impulse points to the integration of the 4 and the 7 vibrations, which are the missing karmic numbers. The 4 vibration deals with aspects of stability, orderliness, self-discipline; while the 7 vibration deals with aspects of the intelligence, intellectual pursuits, learning on all levels. These two energy expressions are what has been missing in the soul psyche prior to coming into the earthly existence due to various causes, which we will not explore here. The soul’s purpose centers on integrating these expressions into the totality of its psyche. What is presented here may not necessarily totally resemble the living person. This report is a reflection of the soul’s blueprint. The person may have deviated from it to a greater or lesser extent. It is likely, however, that her inner voice, should Sarah Palin ever read this, could be resonating with the information found here.

This is an unusual configuration, three 2s in the birth number. The 2 represents the impulse toward balance and harmony. Showing up three times may indicate a very strong insistence that this life be an expression of constantly reaching for balance and harmony. The three 2s add up to 6, which is the energy expression of compassion. This birth number represents the life expression. No matter what field of action she may be involved in, Sarah would tend always to try and express in the mode of the 2s and the 6. the 2 energy expression also points to the spirit of cooperation, 2 people tend to be peace makers.
Given what we know of her actions during the political campaign, it is difficult to see the energy of her birth numbers clearly expressed. We were seeing her going after those whom she regarded as ‘enemies’ with a vengeance, and therefore we saw the direct opposite kind of expressions being displayed. Makes me wonder how she operates in the presence of her friends.
SOUL DESIRE NUMBER:

The soul desire numbers represent the ‘atmosphere’ in which soul prefers to operate. In this case, soul is most comfortable in stable situations [4] where orderliness and disciplined action preside. The underlying influences of this stable condition are the 2, the 5, and the 6. The 5 is the energy expression of action, balanced [2] action with compassion [6] as its component. Thus it can be said that when the living person conducts her life in this stable, compassionate and balanced why, then the soul psyche, the inner self is at peace.
Again, given the actions we have been able to observe during the campaign process, it seems evident that Sarah may not have been peacefully engaged in her work. She may have quite possibly be going against the ‘inner’ grain.
PERSONALITY NUMBER:
9 + 4 + 9 = 4
The personality number represents the inherited persona that comes from the DNA. The egoic aspect of the persona often has a tendency to drift away from its beginning propensities as a consequence of external influences, conditionings that come from the family, the community, the religious influences.
Here we see the 4 expression once more. And this is one of the missing numbers showing up in both the soul desire and the personality profile. Clearly it is soul’s intention to address this karmic deficiency. The soul purpose of integrating 4 energy expression is very strong. Indeed, there is even a 4 in the underlying numbers. And alongside the 4, like a sandwich, is the 9 expression, which is the vibratory expression of the humanitarian impulse. The 9 is the number of the benefactor, the altruistic person par excellence.
If we look at Sarah’s performance as a leader in Alaska, we might wonder how this personality expression reveals itself given her record. There is something about her that is mystifying. My impression is that she means well, and meant well as mayor and governor, that she tried her best to serve her constituency breaking away from traditional conservative imperatives, going her own way, and living up to her core beliefs, which I must say are not my core beliefs.
There is something about her that appeals to her rank and file. Maybe her personality shows the 4 [stability] in the form of utter belief in herself and her actions. And her performance therefore comes across as being that of a strong individual. And for those who believe as she, her actions and statements may seem to be that of the benevolent sort. But not in my book.

The destiny number derives when the soul desire number and the personality profile number are well integrated. And here we see the destiny number to fit right in with the life expression of this person. The 8 is the leadership expression. Her mindset is not much influenced by the facts that come in through the senses. Thus it is easy for her to dismiss whatever facts there are that most people call reality that do not coincide with her firmly held mindset. We see that the 4 energy expressions is prevalent throughout the chart. But nowhere is to be found the 7. In this life the soul purpose of integrating the 7 vibration has been totally neglected. And soul designed this life plan to be such. Apparently, the persona [Sarah Heath] had no interest in perfecting the use of her intelligence. And this inclination fits in with the strong mindset we saw in her planes of temperament. Apparently, very little attempt was made at growing a mind through learning from life or from academics. A disinclination for the intellectual pursuits.
Well, this is the ‘map’ that the soul designed for this life in which it dwells. Whether soul’s design has lived up to its expectation thus far in the life, I leave it to others to determine.

I had a friend who could was a born numeroligist. Was uncanny how she could accurately describe a person's personality and destiny after only hearing their name. I once mentioned a name without saying it had been my name in a past life. Her read of my personality and experiences from that life matched what I already knew, with several things I only suspected. I don't know *why* numerology works, only that it *does*.

Very interesting. Isn't it interesting that all things are connected...i know nothing about numerology, but it makes sense. We need a president with these characteristics!
